Zombies 3 then this game was announced in 2019 and the first soft launch of this game was done in 2020. Due to the unique concept and strong promotion, this game was very much liked by the people, that is why most of the titles of this franchise are available on almost all the popular gaming platforms.

This franchise started with the game Plants vs. If we talk about the developer, then the games of this franchise have been developed by PopCap Games and the work of publishing these games of the franchise has been done by Electronic Arts. Currently, 6 titles have been released in this franchise and soon the upcoming title of the franchise i.e. So I guess I can close the book on yet another PvZ game.Plants vs. Finally, there is a survey that you can take after finishing the game but it does not have any field to enter constructive feedback, only generic number-grading questions about how much you like the gameplay. New features are added just to make gameplay worse. There are no new plants or zombies in this release. If you are looking for fun gameplay that rewards strategy and skill this is not it. Currently the only way to obtain these powerups is a win meter that gives you some for filling it up, and it gives enough to last you through the content currently available. The game clearly wants you to use powerups because the panel that displays them takes up about a third of the screen region in-game. Lawnmowers have been replaced by a single "Smart Mower" that only kills one lane of zombies so even that isn't an option. There is literally no way to beat this without Cherry-Bomb or Jalapeno (they are now powerups). In some levels a huge square or line of bucketheads will just emerge on screen and this is where powerups come into play. For the rest you have to use just Peashooter and Wall-nut. Peashooter and Bonk Choy are the only two damage-dealing plants available and while the latter is much stronger, the aforementioned forced seed loadout means you only get to use it in a handful of levels. Yes, there are only FIVE slots and sometimes essential plants like Lily Pad are missing to provide a "challenge". Plants are not unlocked, they are simply pre-placed in your five slots for each level.

The game has three worlds (Lawn, Camp, Volcano) it kind of jumps between them so I only call them "worlds" tentatively. I will cover these later but I can say that there are already levels in this small demo that are impossible without powerups. I expect that if and when the game fully releases, there will be hundreds of levels with increasingly absurd difficulty, typical of the puzzle format.

You have five regenerating lives, one is lost upon losing a level, and I believe there is a difficulty-ramping system that makes the game harder for each level you win consecutively without losing. The game is in the structure of a typical mobile puzzle game. Unfortunately this is pretty much where the good stuff ends and honestly the bare minimum amount of polish that the game should've released with the first time. The game also looks much better which is to be expected. It is pretty hard to tell what features are implemented just for the soft launch but I'll just judge the game in its current state.įor starters, the game is back in landscape and sun economy has been re-implemented, this is great. I didn't play the first beta but it has been completely reworked so that doesn't matter. After playing through the current game (50 levels) here are my thoughts.
